Course Overview: MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1 provides the core content on safe medication administration procedures for providers administering medications to children in their care in child day program and private school settings. This course is designed for providers who only wish to be certified to administer Solu-Cortef.

Warning:

• Option 1 for providers who are NOT MAT-certified: You are not authorized to administer Solu-Cortef medication using the skill covered in this course until you have successfully completed both MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1 (online) and MAT Solu-Cortef Part 2 (in the classroom). You must complete both parts 1 and 2 to earn an official MAT Solu-Cortef Certificate. 
• Option 2 for providers who ARE MAT-certified: If you are currently MAT-certified, you do not need to complete MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1. You only need to schedule and register for MAT Solu-Cortef Part 2. 

Admission Requirements: Proof of current CPR/First Aid certification is required for admission to MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1. A valid MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1 Completion Certificate is also required for admission to MAT Solu-Cortef Part 2. MAT Solu-Cortef Part 1 Completion Certificates are valid for 6 months.
