This online course provides instruction on administering the Valtoco and Nayzilam seizure rescue nasal spray devices. Providers who successfully complete and pass this online course will earn a MAT Seizure Rescue Nasal Spray Completion Certificate (at the end of this course). Earning this completion certificate is ONE of TWO requirements for a provider to be authorized to give seizure rescue nasal spray to children in their care.
IMPORTANT WARNING: The MAT Seizure Rescue Nasal Spray Completion Certificate alone DOES NOT authorize you to give seizure rescue nasal spray to children in your care. Providers holding a Seizure Rescue Nasal Spray Completion Certificate must ALSO hold current MAT Certification (either a MAT Certificate or MAT First Renewal Certificate) or current MAT Epilepsy Certification to be authorized to give seizure rescue nasal spray.
TO REGISTER FOR THIS ONLINE COURSE: Given the very serious safety and medication abuse risks associated with administering seizure rescue nasal spray, ONLY providers who hold a CURRENT MAT Certificate, MAT First Renewal Certificate, or MAT Epilepsy Certificate are eligible to take this online course. To register, click the green Customer Service Link in the "Need Help?" section of the MAT Online Learning Center. Fill in the request form that pops up providing your first name, last name, and correct email address and select "Register Me for the MAT Seizure Rescue Nasal Spray Online Course" as the "type of issue". Then submit the help request. Our office will verify your certificate status and if you hold the necessary certificate type required for enrollment in this online course, we will manually enroll you in this course and notify you by email. You MUST provide a valid, working email address to receive this notification!
